Miller's Camping is a family owned business.  It was started by Jean and Edgar Miller and celebrated its 40th year in business in 2007!  Edgar was born and raised on the property that now hosts the campground.  He lived there long before the Parkway was even thought of.  His Grandfather, John S. purchased the land in the mid-1800s.  He raised 11 children on this property with his first wife, Biddie.  He raised another seven children with his second wife, Belle.  Edgar's father, Rufus, was in the second set.  Rufus and his wife Stella had six children including Edgar.
